After writing this, I’ll only have two weeks remaining on this more strict diet. I’ve been thinking about all the things I’ll finally be allowed to have, like sandwiches, and coke, and chips and candy. I don’t think I’m going to partake nearly as much as I did. I’ve been more excited for an actual cheat meal than I have for snacks of those kinds. And I can’t say I really miss coke or soda of any kind (except Diet Dr Pepper) because I’m so much more aware of how much sugar and carbs are in that. It’s just not good at all. I may have it sparingly, but it’ll never be a staple of my diet again. I wish I could drink more water; so much of my daily liquid intake is coffee these past few weeks.
I had a semi-decent day of eating. Breakfast was the norm, but it was two ounces of ham vice the standard one. I had the coffee, egg, and sausage gravy. I had a second coffee probably around 9:30 or so and that kept me satiated until I’d left for the day. When I got home, I made myself a natural creamy peanut butter roll up in a low carb tortilla. Dinner was leftovers, which was the pot roast and baby carrots. I drank some iced tea with MCT oil to wash down the dinner and had a final coffee later in the day with some more MCT oil. I had no water…ugh. I’ll try to do better tomorrow.
MyFitnessPal didn’t disappoint, and had me pretty close to macros:
- 110 out of the allowed 125 g of fat, accounting for 77% of my calories; target is 75%
- 53 out of the allowed 75 g of protein, accounting for 16% of my calories; target is 20%
- 22 out of the allowed 25 g of net carbohydrates, accounting for 7% of my calories; target is 5%
I’m down to about 205.2 lbs, I think; the scale’s still a little shoddy. But that’s about the mean average of what I was getting this morning, moving the scale to several spots in the bathroom. Still having plumbing issues (probably because of the coffee) so I’m hoping that drinking a bunch of water will help with that, and get me closer to 200 pounds. I only have two more weeks to get there!
